Romantico“Books were never the problem. Ignorance and prejudice and blatant narrow-mindedness were, and the world would be a better place without them.” I loved this passage that brilliantly summarizes one of the themes of the book. Artemis, the heroine, is a gorgeous bluestocking that secretly writes gothic novels and wants to open a women’s college. She’s smart and passionate and the perfect match for Dominic, who’s been unfairly named the Dastardly Duke of Dartmoor, but who in reality is a very good and sweet man with a tragic past. I loved both characters very much and I loved the lively banter between the two and the other characters of the book even more. The book is beautifully written, with vivid descriptions and true-to-life characters and funny moments. I definitely look forward to the next book of the series! (I listened to the audiobook, and it was fabulous!)
