Waiting For A Friend: A Play

Waiting For A Friend is the story of a fifty-year old man who has an unexpected (or maybe not) meeting with a best friend from his teenage years, as they catch up on each other's lives, renew their friendship, and lament the passage of so many decades.

Alfred C. Martino is a novelist and singer/songwriter. He is the author of three highly-acclaimed novels, Pinned, Over the End Line, and Perfected by Girls, as well as the stage play, Waiting For A Friend, performed at the New York New Works Theatre Festival, and a catalog of published short stories and music. Mr. Martino was born and raised in Short Hills, NJ. He is a graduate of Duke University and The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
