In his relatively short life of 54 years, Spurgeon published some 18 million words, selling over 56 milllion copies of his sermons in 40 languages in his in person up to thirteen times per week, pastored the largest church of his day, and could make himself heard, without amplification) to a crowd of twenty-three thousand people!
