    Vermakelijk

This was a nice story, and I don't know if it was because I wasn't a much in the mood for romance as I thought it because of the book (maybe a bit of both ) but this wasn't as good as I expected. The premise was a fun idea, and it was nice to get to see another part of the cast from the start of their filming until the series end in the other books. And I just didn't connect with the characters as much. Their banter was funny, though. One glaring issue I have is this: Maria is happy she's cast in a role that doesn't have anything to do with fatness as a fat person yet almost the entire book focuses on their fatness in some way. Especially since one of Maria's things is that she's into fat positivity activism. How nice would it have been if that hadn't been a core part of her character? It's kind of ironic that a lead makes says something about that phenomenon in media, and then the book blatantly goes on to basically do exactly that thing.
