Great book, although the way the narrator pronounces names continues to boggle the mind. For example:Ragnarok = rag-na-rokRagnar = rang-yarRagnall = ran-yalWhy the 'ragn' part in these three names are all pronounced differently is a complete mystery. Also, at some point father Beocca suddenly seems to be Welsh, rather than Northumbrian. But other than that the book is great!
