George Lewis: Comedian's London Marathon

It's official... this years London Marathon was the biggest in history!

Guinness World Records has confirmed that it set a new world record for the most finishers in a marathon, with 59,830 runners crossing the line.

Alongside this milestone, GWR also verified 38 individual record-breaking performances across the field - from elite world records to standout costume and inspiring human interest attempts.

Not only was it the biggest ever... it pushed the limits of physical human achievement!

Sabastian Sawe became the first athlete to run a sub-two-hour marathon in a competitive race. The 31-year-old Kenyan crossed the line to win in one hour 59 minutes 30 seconds!

Jenni brings you all the record breaking facts to keep you inspired and get you to sign up for next years race.

Sunday mornings are nothing without Sean Fletcher. Sunday Morning Live, Good Morning Britain and Countryfile - Sean is a friendly face on all of our TV’s and he’s running the London Marathon next week… alongside his daughter Lily!

They both join Jenni in the studio to talk about completing 3 marathons in 4 weeks, bonding over their new found love for running and raising money for MIND next Sunday!

Recorded just days after the Paris Marathon which they took part in, both are in great shape and spirits.

Expect an episode full of heart warming stories, followed by a new episode every day next week, leading up to the London Marathon!

Sean & Lili Fletcher: Father and daughter's triple marathon!

Our guest today is the incredible Mark Ormrod OBE. Mark is a former Royal Marine, Invictus Games Athlete, Author and Motivational Speaker.

On Christmas Eve 2008 Mark triggered an improvised explosive device during a routine foot patrol, that resulted in unimaginable injuries. Injuries that resulted in a triple amputation.

Mark’s mindset, and determination to not be defeated by his injuries is incredible. Since the explosion, he’s defied the odds and hasn’t owned a wheelchair since his first year of the accident.

If he wants you to know one thing: it’s don’t take the small things, like being able to get out for a run, for granted...
