This is indeed history. I warmly recommend you to take in that ringing voice and real mastery of the radio media. Roosevelt was a genius of communication, no doubt about it. We don't always think of it, but almost every successful politician of today walk in his footsteps concerning communication. Though it is eighty-five years since the first recordings, there is no doubt of what he says and wants the listener to feel. He wants you to feel part of it all, and you do. The idea of informal radio talks was brilliant. The only thing I would wish for, is that a good sound lab with the right equipment to read old 78s digitally had been allowed to clean the sound and do a remastering. The noise is a bit overwhelming at times.
