An exceptional giant man with a talent to bring people together to escape from the constraints of Nazi's rules to enjoy a memorable Christmas for two special children.

They were runaways hiding from the Vichy French police and the German patrols who took their parents away to the death camps. He knew they would hide at night in the catacombs that connected to the Paris Métro. During the day, they would forage for food they would share at night in their hiding places with other members of the lost children of France. Reaching out to the hopeless children was a challenge; you had to earn their trust.
