What do you do when you outlive your usefulness on the dwarf planet Eris? Institute Hard Kill measures.

Injured while inspecting a cargo pod, Customs Inspector, Brock Henry is involuntarily converted into a cyborg. He wakens, not only with a new and enhanced body, but to discover he is the subject of an intense search. Both sides of the divided Royal Council (transhuman) want him, or the parts he's made of, as does the Emigration Society, led by Brock's family (Fleshies), who have launched a rebellion to escape genocide.
