A stranger named Bud Atwood answers Violet’s phone call. But he seems as confused as she is. Can she trust him?

As Violet fights to keep hope within the walls of the cabin, and Bud chases the mystery in the outside world, it becomes clear that the link between them is far more sinister than they could have imagined. Violet and Bud haven’t met before—but they’re not exactly strangers, either.
