Police in Pasco County, Florida, discovered the body of Ernesto Cabelleiro in a rural area north of Tampa. Caballeiro is believed to have kidnapped his newborn son, Andrew, after fatally shooting the child’s mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The child is still missing.In Quebec, a convicted murderer with a history of violence against women murdered a sex worker while out on day parole, after being assessed a ‘low to moderate chance to reoffend’.Finally, new developments are announced in the case of Kristin Smart. Smart, a student at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, disappeared on May 25th, 1996 while walking back to her dorm. The San Luis Obispo sheriff’s office revealed they have taken possession of two new pieces of evidence, two trucks that, in 1996, were owned by the family of the main suspect in her disappearance, fellow Cal Poly student Paul Flores. Paul Flores was the last person to see Kristin Smart alive.
