The 40k Lorecast

On today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the 3rd legion of the Space Marines, the Emperor’s Children. We open with Fulgrim having to clear his possession by the daemon blade. From there we move over to the Fulgrim’s ascension to Daemon Prince. After that we cover the descent of the legion into just partying in the warp. From there we move to the hilariously uselessness of the Emperor’s children at the siege of terra (they did more for the loyalists than the traitors in function). After this we jump to the Emperor’s children post heresy with a focus on Lucius and Fabius Bile. We then close with the return of Fulgrim to the materium and the game of 40K.

Episode 1 History of Mankind - Age of Terra, Technology, Strife and the appearance of the Emperor

On today’s cast we dive into the Golden age of technology. We open with the Age of Terra and some new lore about the Emperor and his battles with the Cognitae. From there we dive into the mankind conquering and terraforming Sol in preparation of launching into the galaxy. We then talk (briefly) about the men of gold, men of stone, and the expansion into the galaxy. After that we take a turn and focus on the technology of the Age of Technology and how incredibly advanced it is. After that we lean into the Men of Iron and their critical role in the growth of humanity. Then we cover the genetic engineering, both of the regular populace, as well as the creation of the navigators. We then close our coverage with the invention of the warp drive.

Episode 83 - The Golden Age of Technology and mankind's expansion into the galaxy.

On today’s cast we cover the 3rd legion of the Space Marines, the Emperor’s Children. Starting with their founding from the conquered nobles houses of terra to their exemplary actions earning them the right to wear the Aquilla on their armor. We then spend time talking about the loss of their gene-seed and the presumed dooming of their legion, until the discover of their Primarch Fulgrim. We then dive deep into Fulgrim, his discover on Chemos though his joining of the emperor and making best friends with Ferrus Manus. After that we cover his exposure to corruption on Laer and the rapid descent into chaos from that moment. We then take a pause to discuss the effect of Slaanesh’s corruption on the rest of his legion and forces. We then close with a bang with the events of Istvaan III and V.
