Friends Before Lovers

The cat and mouse game of relationships can often be tricky. People use their best self to hook their object of desire in order to start a loving relationship. However, when certain things such as denial, unspoken truths, false realities and lies that are hidden come into view, the guilty party will do their best to hold on to the person they're loving. But is that enough to keep them together? Chris had taken a drug case that he wasn't good for and was sentenced to five years in prison. After doing three years on a five-year bit, Chris was fresh out of the penitentiary and ready to get his life back on track. One of the things that were on his mind was finding a good woman to share his life with. And when he saw a picture of an old friend he used to date back in high school, Chris's sites were set on making her his girl for real this time. Ingrid was a head-strong tattoo artist who is part owner of Mecca Tattooing Parlor with her best friend Justin. She had recently gotten out of a really bad relationship and didn't have the time or tolerance to deal with any man that came at her with games. She'd made a promise to herself to never get involved in another messed situation, which brought her to her one rule of dating; she didn't date drug dealers. However, things were about to change when one encounter brought back feelings that weren't fully explored in a past relationship. And the attraction is so strong that it can't be denied.
