Grampa's Zombie BBQ

One day in the school cafeteria, Wiley stands on the table and invites everyone to his grandpa's annual barbecue. Everyone cheers! Later, Wiley and his friend Jubal are experimenting with a chemistry set. They develop a dangerous new explosive that Wiley names PPK. Then the boys fill a container with it and place it on a shelf right next to Gramma's containers of paprika. The next day, just as Grampa's barbecue festivities are getting underway, the recently deceased begin rising from their graves! And they sure are hungry for barbecue! When the zombies devour all the delicious grub, their appetite shifts toward the living. Only Vera the lunch lady's spicy beet borscht can save the party-goers now. Kirk Scroggs is making a name for himself as a fun-loving children's author of monstrous distinction. The first book in the Wiley & Grampa's Creature Features series, Dracula Vs. Grampa at the Monster Truck Spectacular is also available from Recorded Books.
