‘I only have this radio with me, ’ he said in his deep voice and handed her the radio machine he used to communicate with the other taxi drivers. His deep tone buffered her for a second, but she shook off and grabbed the radio from his hand. ‘Please!’ she screamed into the machine. ‘If you can hear me!
