A titan of 19th century fantasy literature, George MacDonald also left an astonishing collection of sermons, Unspoken Sermons, which are amongst the finest to be found in the English language. About these sermons, C.S. Lewis wrote: “I know hardly any other writer who seems to be closer, or more continually close, to the Spirit of Christ Himself.”

The Unspoken Sermons are timeless, beyond time even, and are as clear and as relevant today as they were when they were written in the 1860’s.
