I’m having a mini life crisis.

Normally I would confide in my bestie.

But I didn’t come all the way to Alaska to ruin her wedding with my pathetic problems.

I decide to stay in North Haven a few extra days to get my head on straight.

When the new bride offers her key to me and insists I stay at her place while she’s on her honeymoon, I gladly accept it.

My plan to hide out and avoid people—especially the arrogant groomsmen James Devano—is quickly upended when I discover I’m not the only one who’s been invited to stay.

Just my luck that the one man who has managed to drive me up a wall since I met him is now insisting we coin flip for the guest bedroom.

I might strangle the smug, sexy coast guardsmen.

If I don’t jump him and climb him like a tree first.

I don’t do commitment.

Watching my parents’ on again, off again trainwreck of a relationship over the years has jaded me for life.

But when I first see Serenity Collins at my buddy’s wedding, I know I’m trouble.

She drives me absolutely crazy, but she also drives me completely wild.

My plan to avoid her and the feelings I don’t want seems simple enough.

She’s headed out on a plane the day after the wedding.

Or at least that’s what I thought.

Had I known she was extending her vacation and staying at the newlywed’s place, I never would’ve accepted my buddy’s offer to house sit.

Falling for Serenity is the last thing I should do.

Especially since I know she’s hung up on someone else.

But the more time I spend around her, the more I’m determined to show her how a real man treats a woman.

I go from wanting to avoid her to wanting to make her mine.

And that’s exactly what I plan to do.
