True North

“Stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with a celebrity” was not on my bingo card. Neither was sharing a tent with the cocky Australian actor who enjoys pushing my buttons.

As a New York trauma nurse, I’m no stranger to chaos. Stress. Burnout. This trip was supposed to be my escape from all that. I desperately needed these two weeks in the Far North to clear my head so I can make a decision about the promotion I was offered. Except, even when he riles me up, Wes is infuriatingly charismatic. Thoughtful. Attentive. All the things my ex wasn’t. No matter how much I want to believe his flirting is genuine, I’m not stupid. Let’s be real, he’s way out of my league, and I’ll be an afterthought as soon as this vacation is over.

When Mother Nature steps in, Wes and I quickly discover why Alaska is nicknamed the Last Frontier.
