Klara dreams of having a child. When her last stormy relationship ends, as unsuccessful as all the previous ones, Klara decides to abandon her dreams of romantic love and achieve her goal in a different way. She decides on artificial insemination. She contacts clinics treating infertility and looks for a suitable donor in sperm bank catalogs. She is supported by her friends: the feisty and sexually liberated Daria and the pious and shy Anastazja. The simple insemination procedure turns out to be difficult to go through when the clinics learn that Klara is a single woman. However, Klara does not give up.
