3.5 stars | I have mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, it’s a fast read and one that I actually enjoyed. The writing is good and engaging. On the other hand, I just can't stop thinking: why didn't Lisa tell the truth from the start? All this drama would have been avoided. She was young and inexperienced but not too young to be this lame. Part of the story made no sense to me and the author didn’t bother to provide an explanation as to why certain characters acted the way they did. It felt hard to believe. I know it's fiction but still... some bits were a little too far-fetched for my liking.
