Mutton

Alistair Nito, ex-pirate and ex-sweeper for the syndicates, has hung up his sword and gotten sober.

These days he just wants to spend his days running the bar at his inn and keeping his nose clean. But when a local upstart known as the Pickler pulls him into an armored carriage job, he’s gonna have to bring back the old juice - and cut out all the threats that come with it.

A hard-boiled sword and sorcery short story, MUTTON is the first book in the Tales of Cruxia Short Stories series by Carter Reynolds.
