On its way from Los Angeles to Stockholm, an SAS airliner with more than 200 passengers on board suddenly disappears from the radar. There is no crash site. A terrorist attack is suspected and various security authorities are gathering for crisis consultations. Among them is Thana 'Monty' Montgomery, the young, brand new director of the Swedish National Space Board.
