SydäntälämmittäväEnnalta-arvattavaThe main pair getting together was an experience in whiplash, because five years? Without any interaction?? And then they suddenly get together again almost instantly? But otherwise this was entertaining enough, if a little cliche at times.

SydäntälämmittäväHauskaEnnalta-arvattavaI agree with the previous reviewer, the 5 year jump forwards was a weird choice from the author and had me frowning how it's possible to share a workplace such as this an basically be no contact. I liked the fast burn instalust beginning, it's refreshing, but was bummed with how it didn't set the pace for the next encounter (the reader definitely got to share in Sam's frustration). Gideon remained quite faceless/ bland until the end, which is rather meh.Overall, started with a bang and then bellyflopped for me. The humor/snark got annoying on an Alice Winter -level.
