#1 In 2007, Elliott Bisnow, Brett Leve, Jeff Rosenthal, and Jeremy Schwartz were thinking about starting a company. They weren’t the Beatles, but they had a similar story of how they came together. They all had different problems they wanted to solve, and they wanted to do it together.

#2 After graduating from college, Elliott went straight into working for his father’s company. He was selling local real estate ads, and he finally got a check in the mail after a few months. He realized he had a job.

#3 Jeff’s childhood was shaped by his grandfather’s philosophy: A large extended family is the greatest luxury in life. His grandmother Joy was the matriarch of the family, and she held seventy cousins, aunts, and uncles together by hosting family dinners nearly every weekend.

#4 The band’s success was growing, but Jeremy was starting to feel the pressure of being in a band. He decided to leave and join us, which was the first of many bold ideas that would shape a generation of world-changing companies.
