#1 Sri Ramana defined the Self as being-consciousness-bliss, which is a single immanent reality that is simultaneously the source, the substance, and the real nature of everything that exists. He also referred to it as God, the Heart, and Brahman.

#2 The Self is the underlying reality that supports the appearance of other three temporary states. It is one's real and natural state of being. It is sometimes referred to as God, the Heart, and Brahman.

You want to see it as a blazing light or vast. But it is not light or dark. It simply is. It cannot be defined.
