It was an unforgettable journey. I travelled in a fast car. A Mercedes. But I would rather have walked, for life whizzed by and the traveller was left with just a tourist brochure… The drive was a rush, like the kiss long-lost lovers exchange when they meet. The journey was short, like love’s pleasure blindsided by lust. I didn’t stop to think that there could be an alternative… a stroll down the countryside… …reached my destination without the necessity to get somewhere…
