Television studios are magical places, and I should know only too well with my family's history in film and television. Massive arc lights with perfect round faces hanging on to steadfast lighting grids, lined up above shining white-floored studios, scattered with sets, dotted with cameras, booms, and technicians. Each time I walked past a bright red 'on air' light stuck to the studio wall, I felt curiously alive. I had met Paul, my husband there, who was working as an assistant director at the time. Things could not have been more perfect; the lifestyle, the love and the passion for what we did. Life however has a way of throwing you a curve ball every now and then. My curveball hit me hard and lost me nearly everything that I had. Without the love of friends and family I would not begin to find myself again and reshape my life like a sculptor. Chill Factor is a mesmerising journey through the splendour and glamour of television transitioning into the harsh drama of Lesley's reality when she finds out about Paul's malicious side.
