Marissa Mayer: A Tireless Innovator in Silicon Valley

Marissa Mayer was born in Wisconsin in 1975 and graduated from Stanford University with a degree in computer science. After a brief stint at Goldman Sachs, Mayer joined Google in 1999, becoming the company's 20th employee. During her career at Google, Mayer played a key role in developing iconic products such as Gmail and Google Maps. In 2012, she became the CEO of Yahoo!, taking on the mission of revitalizing the declining company.
