Ronald Colby was a producer for Francis Ford Coppola for his entire career Colby, Coppola, and Robert Duvall all moved to Los Angeles together from New York, when their first attempt at film production failed, Coppola and Duvall moved back to NY and raised more funds, when they came back to LA, the three of them made The Rain People (which featured George Lucas as a cameraman), right before moving on to The Godfather Events in New York, Los Angeles, Marin County, and Napa Colby's next book will be a memoir of the making of The Rain People and the launching of Coppola, Duvall, and Colby's careers
