Scarlet

"Fantastic. I’ve been reading cozy mysteries for several years now. This is not your typical cozy mystery..... it’s much more!!!" ~Monica, Amazon review

Europe, 1925.

Paris: The Louvre Museum has fallen on hard times. The years since The Great War have been lean indeed. So when the cool and calculating Miss Rosalind Davenport appears with an unprecedented proposition - one that could single-handedly revitalise the struggling institution - it’s hard to ignore her.

London: The Comtesse Aurélie d’Auvergne is mingling with England’s wealthiest art collectors. The young French noblewoman is the definition of elegance and charm. But her trip across the Channel isn’t all pleasure. She’s come to present them with the opportunity of a lifetime – an art connoisseur’s dream – and the bidding is about to commence.

Two angles. One audacious plan.

Scarlet Haslewood is about to orchestrate the greatest confidence scheme of her career. It could make her infamous overnight – not to mention filthy rich. Assuming, of course, that she doesn’t miss a step.

After all, who would have thought that a bag of dried fruit, a faulty hinge, and a chivalrous stranger who quotes Jane Austen would ultimately be her undoing...

...let alone her salvation!
