#1 When we come to God confessing our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We must allow God to wipe our slate clean by confessing our sins and receiving a new start.

#2 The road to Rome is long, and it is full of wrong turns and dead ends. But it is also the only way to reach God. Follow Jesus as the only way to reach the Father.

#3 God wants to teach us how to defend ourselves against sin. He offers us some spiritual training, which builds us up inside in the same way as physical exercise and discipline can on the outside. We must be consistent in our reading of Scripture and diligent in its application to the situations and circumstances around us.

#4 The value of a person is not determined by their work or success, but by God placing value on them. You are valued because God made you and Christ died for you.
