#1 You were created to fill a man’s need for a helper, and in that capacity you are a good thing suited to his needs. You are inferior to none as long as you function within your natural nature, for no man can do your job.

#2 When you are a help meet to your husband, you are a helper to Christ. When you honor your husband, you honor God. When you obey your husband, you obey God.

#3 God’s original plan was that Adam and Eve be husband and wife, but Eve was created to be a help meet to Adam. As you read this, it may seem like blasphemy, but your husband deserves you as his help meet.

#4 Men are created to be helpers of God. Society is structured so that men and women must submit to authorities like government, employers, police, and the courts. There is no loss of dignity in subordination when it serves a higher purpose.
