In 1867, Major Caleb Dunn arrived in the bustling town of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The former Aide de Camp for Brigadier General Edward S. Bragg has left behind his family of wealth and power in Indiana to set out on the journey of a lifetime.

Unknown to him, Caleb's life would forever change when a sinister presence makes itself known in the darkness. It was a different type of journey than what he expected, with irreversible consequences.

The town is stunned when a woman's body appears in the Sylvan Grove Cemetery. All daily life grinds to a halt as the town comes to terms with the gruesome discovery and suspicions runs high.

In just a short time, Fond du Lac realizes that the devil is among them.
