The Purple Ball

Aboard the luxury yacht Nepenthe, boredom and alcohol fuel the simmering tensions among a wealthy owner and his guests. When a radio broadcast hints at a brutal murder, their interest is piqued. Then a desperate castaway is rescued from the sea with a chilling tale: four men, a mysterious purple ball, and a voyage that descended into betrayal and cold-blooded killing.

As the castaway recounts the horrors he witnessed—a storm, a murder on a deserted island, and a paranoia that turned comrades into killers—the parallels to their own cruise become impossible to ignore. Trapped together under a tropic moon, the passengers listen as the grim story mirrors their own secrets. The purple ball, an object of unimaginable value, has left a trail of death from Singapore to the islands. Now, with the story closing in, the question becomes: how far will they go to possess it?
