The Sacrifice Feast

It has been a tough winter and the two young Vikings, Freya and Sigurd, they are both frostbitten and hungry. Spring is slow in coming. There is almost no food left in the village. Chief decides therefore that they must give the greatest sacrifice to appease the gods. The Sacrifice Feast - in Honour of the Gods is a dramatic story that provides insight into our ancestors’ harsh lives. The tale is based on recent Viking discoveries near Tissoe on the western coast of Zealand and the latest knowledge on the Viking Age.
