4 ⭐️ Good suspenseful plot and good finish but the book is very stretched at times wanted to skip some chapters as the story almost comes to halt around 40% in the book

3.75 starsLittle Secrets was a solid book. I would say this book turned out to be quite different from what I expected it to be and totally in a good way. I loved the exploration of grief that took place in this book. I don't have any children yet and I still felt so bad reading about the pain that Marin was going through, I can't even imagine what readers who have children had to go through when they read it. Another thing that I quite liked was that this story was told from both Marin and Mckenzie's point of views (3rd person). Even though there were many reasons to hate Mckenzie but I think we all can agree we did end up being sympathetic to her. This is something I really liked, exploration of human nature/character. People are always more complex than what it might seem on the surface. And the thriller part of the book was quite good too, though this book didn't have a lot of twists and turns but it was still quite suspenseful and thrilling.

It was very moving indeed.. the fear of loosing a child makes someone so desperate to take actions which one can never imagine..

3 stars. Meh. Quick and easy read but a mediocre thriller. Loved the narrator though! The book okay but she managed to keep me focused!

Loved the pace of the novel. It kept me engrossed throughout! There were a couple of twists and turns that were unpredictable. But for the most part, you'll figure out the ending quite early-on in the novel.

The pacing was a bit too slow for me. I didn't find the story that engaging either. Overall, a meh read.
