When Vestaris Moonshadow learns she can walk among the living, it becomes a race against time to escape the hells and her controlling father—the god of death himself. Thrust into the mortal city of Ollora, Vestaris knew adapting would take time. What she didn’t expect was being swept up in eons-old political warfare between fae, humans, demons, and gods.

As Vestaris tries to find her place in the living realm, the goddess of fate has something else in mind when she meets the very fae she‘s been dreaming about for the last three centuries. Forced to contend with the demons hunting her and her own demons haunting her, Vestaris’ choices threaten to reshape the fabric of the realms. Will she embrace her duty as a harbinger of death, or will she fall in love with life?

As Above, So Below is a loose “The Little Mermaid” retelling. Set in a dark, grim world where deceit is common, death lurks in the shadows, and everyone harbors secrets. This faerietale showcases how one demon finds herself and love amidst chaos.
