Summer’s over, and Carole, Stevie, and Lisa are hoping things will get back to normal—but is there even such thing as normal anymore?

The start of the new school year is a reality check for best friends Carole Hansen, Stevie Lake, and Lisa Atwood. Stevie’s boyfriend, Phil, is suddenly hanging out with Callie’s brother, Scott, who still blames Stevie for the near-fatal car accident that injured his sister.
