Dragon's Heart

Teenage dragon handlers return home—but their adventures are far from over—in the long-awaited final novel of this beloved YA fantasy adventure.

Jakkin and Akki are finally back home after a long and difficult time away. But Austar IV isn't the planet it once was, and their return to the dragon nursery arouses mixed emotions.

Together, Jakkin and Akki have learned to survive the brutal conditions of Dark After and communicate with the dragons they love. But with this knowledge comes responsibility. What they know about survival could transform the planet—or, if entrusted to the wrong hands, bring about its destruction.

Akki is determined to return to the Rokk to finish her training and begin new experiments. But her choice causes a rift between her and Jakkin. Suddenly she finds herself in the midst of a political battle that could claim her life. Only Jakkin can save her. If only he could reach her. . . .
