Haunted by Pride

Just when Gesa thought her pride was finally complete, it starts coming apart.

Halstad vanishes in the middle of the night, and the mage guild insists they know nothing about it. The problem? Gesa’s gryphon instincts are screaming that it’s a lie. Halstad didn’t leave by choice—and whatever the guild is hiding, it’s bigger than one missing mage.

Tracking him down won’t be easy. The guild has cut Gesa off completely, refusing to sell mage contracts to anyone connected to Derek White. Even if she finds Halstad, keeping him may be impossible.

Pirates, sirens, and demon allies complicate the search, but they’re not what truly has Gesa on edge. For the first time since forming her pride, she’s the one keeping a secret. One that changes how she sees her future—and could change everything her lovers thought they understood about their lives together.

The gryphon hates lies. And this one is going to cost her.

Haunted by Pride is the eighth novella in the Gesa’s Menagerie series, a reverse harem paranormal romance featuring found family, loyalty under strain, and the terrifying hope of building something permanent in a dangerous world.

Suitable for mature readers.
