Highlander Lost in Time

Alasdair MacLeod expected the cold weight of a claymore and the roar of a clan war. Instead, the Highland laird wakes to the smell of damp earth and rustling corn. An ancient brooch has dragged him through the centuries, dropping him into a silent world he doesn't recognize. No stone walls. No screaming warriors. Just the endless green of a quiet Amish farm.

The machines here hum with a strange power, and the people move with a peace he has never known. Sarah is the biggest challenge of all. She’s the woman who found him bleeding in her field, and she has zero patience for his booming commands. She sees through his armor. To her, he isn't a legendary leader he's just a stubborn man who thinks every problem is solved with a blade.

Their days are filled with sharp arguments and sudden silences. Sarah challenges his pride at every turn, yet Alasdair finds himself watching her work with a growing, restless interest. He’s a man built for violence, but the calm of the farm is starting to seep under his skin.

The brooch is beginning to glow again. Its pull is a physical ache, demanding he return to the bloody duty of his own time. His clan is waiting. His history is calling. Alasdair is trapped between the life he was born to lead and a woman who taught him that true strength doesn't require a sword.

Can a warrior traded across time ever truly find peace in a world without war?

Discover the passion, danger, and destiny woven through every story in The Tìr-Chridhe Brooch series.

The brooch surfaces without warning. Cold metal, old as legend. The ancient Tìr-Chridhe Brooch stirs and a passage opens between the modern world and the rough Scottish Highlands of another century. Amish women who once lived quiet, faithful lives step through and face fierce warriors, clan grudges, and desire that feels far too dangerous. Wind combs the heather. Peat smoke hangs low. Here survival takes nerve, and love runs hotter than any rule they knew. Each woman must choose where her heart will stay. Some go back home, changed in ways words can’t hold. Others walk beside their Highland warriors forward.
