In Boyfriend Material, Luc and Oliver met, pretended to fall in love, fell in love for real, dealt with heartbreak and disappointment and family and friends...and somehow figured out a way to make it work. Now it seems like everyone around them is getting married, and Luc's feeling the social pressure to propose. But it'll take more than four weddings, a funeral, and a bowl full of special curry to get these two from I don't know what I'm doing to I do. Good thing Oliver is such perfect Husband Material.

I don't get why this installment has only 3.9 stars here on Storytel (well, I kind of get it but I think the point might be lost to some). I love how through everything Luc and Oliver go through in this book, they do decide that their relationship is worth the effort. And I absolutely am here for all the heteronormativity discourse that both the characters engage in and is also apparent in the overall tone of the book. Which makes the end actually make such sense. I'm so here for more Luc and Oliver and that awesome character gallery that are their friends and family and co-workers.
