John's Yearning

Haunted and emotionally scarred by the tragic loss of his blood-bonded mate and unborn child, John Grant, a Scanguards vampire bodyguard, lives a solitary existence, meticulously avoiding any connection that could shatter his heart again. But when Savannah Rice, a desperate single mother, pleads for his help to find her kidnapped daughter, Buffy, John can't resist the raw vulnerability and dormant fire he sees in her eyes.

Thrown into a perilous race against time, they uncover a sinister child trafficking ring stretching from San Francisco to the dark corners of Russia. As they navigate this treacherous world, a forbidden love ignites between them, a solace in the face of unimaginable evil. But with passion comes pain; they're forced to confront their shared guilt and deepest fears while battling a ruthless villain to rescue Buffy and the other innocent girls.

But even if they dismantle the monstrous trafficking ring and save the children, a final, terrifying question remains: Can Savannah endure the ultimate truth about John—that he is a vampire who craves her body and her blood?
