When she sees the man who once held her heart on a busy street one night in Vegas, Makenna wonders if she’s losing it.

Santana Alvarez vowed to stay out of Makenna’s life, but he’s always kept a watch over her from a distance. Now that he’s out of the military, he can no longer keep that promise. Staying away from her means hurting more than just him.

When he rushes back into her life, Makenna is ready to love again. But will her self-destructive past catch up with her? Will Santana’s closely held secret be the force that drives a wedge between them once more? While secrets about her past are being revealed all around her, Makenna trusts no one. But a shared commitment might be the key to Makenna and Santana finding their forever love.
