We would all like at times to change or alter aspects of our lives. Some people are is desperate need to alter their lives radically, but we do have second chances every day, there is nothing stopping us other than ourselves. Yes there may be implications as to what we want to do and it may get others upset or their feathers ruffled, but that's for them to deal with not you.

You are in charge of your life and have as much right as anyone else to do as you please and not be dictated to by "unwritten" rules and regulations and circumstances. Either accept your life as it is or change it, but don't moan and groan and do nothing as that leads nowhere.
