Macbeth

"Macbeth," one of William Shakespeare's most renowned tragedies, delves into the corrosive nature of ambition and the harrowing consequences of unchecked desire for power. Set in medieval Scotland, the play begins with the brave and loyal general, Macbeth, who, along with his friend Banquo, receives a prophecy from three witches. They predict that Macbeth will become the Thane of Cawdor and eventually the King of Scotland.
