Through sharp satire, farcical scenes, and biting social commentary, Aristophanes questions the relationship between wealth, virtue, and justice. A late work in his career, Plutus blends humor with philosophical inquiry, offering a vivid reflection on economic fairness, human greed, and the role of the gods in worldly affairs.
