Summary of Leigh Byrne's Call Me Tuesday

#1 I had become used to the smell of my own bucket, and I didn’t notice the outside air any more than I noticed the air inside my room. I was only aware that the air outside my house was different, thinner, and crisper.

#2 I had a very difficult time dealing with my mother’s criticism. She would constantly tell me how ugly I was, and that no man would ever want me. I had a difficult time understanding why she was so mean to me.

#3 I had never seen my mother afraid before, and when I did, it was a sight that terrified me. I had asked for it, and deserved it. I was sorry, and when my mother went back down the stairs, I cried out that I was sorry.
