ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK

In Lev Grossman's The Magician's Land, Quentin Coldwater, a former magician king, becomes embroiled in a new adventure when a mysterious page from a magical book surfaces. This page leads him to uncover a complex spell, and he joins a group of misfit magicians for a heist to break an incorporate bond. The story blends fantasy and reality as they discover the truth about a magical land and their connections to it. Through their exploits, they encounter magical artifacts, engage with the gods of Fillory, and grapple with the idea of creating their own world. Betrayal and personal identity are recurring themes as they learn about their pasts, and attempt to understand their roles in the unfolding events.
