"The Book of Ayub, known in the west as Job" is an English translation of the ancient manuscript of the story of Job. Job was a wealthy man in the East who underwent great suffering when he lost his possessions, as well as all his children through tragic means in quick succession. Being a devout believer in God, he questions why God has seemingly abandoned him at his hour of need. The Book of Job is included in the Canon of the Christian and Jewish Bibles. This version is the translation by Ralph Sadler.
